Last Monday we had a guest speaker in to lead devotions at our corporate office in Kitchener. Ian Pallister came to share a message with us as well as a bit of his story. He lived in Huronia Regional Center when he was young but is currently living semi-independently and is supported through Scarboro SIL.This was the central thought he had for us.
Today we are living in a world that has darkness all around us. As Christians it is important to let our light shine. In the Bible, it reminds us , Jesus is the light of the world. In Psalm 119:105 says, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. In this new year, 2011, let the light of Christ shine through each and everyone of you. Don't hide your light under a bushel, it is important to keep your light shining in these last days before the coming of the LORD!
Ian Pallister
