Many of us were captivated by the ordeal of the Chilean Miners. The photo attached with this blog is taken from CNN's website (all rights theirs). I read an article on their religion blog today that explains why the minors were wearing Jesus T-shirts when they came out of the mine. Here is the link:
It is encouraging to hear how God brought comfort to the minors through His word. One of the minors closed a letter sited in the article with "Psalm 95:4, which says, 'In His hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to Him.'"
God has the words we need when we need them. As we support people we need to be open to His leading. Perhaps he will use us to bring his comfort. Are we in tune with what He is trying to say?
