In case you didn't know there are serveral inclusive Christian worship services that regulary happen around the province.  The following is an update form Judy Paling on behalf of the committee that has started one in Chatham.

The sounds of Joy and Celebration are still echoing the halls in the great Southwest where over 60 people came to share FAITH,FOOD, FUN & FRIENDS.

Chatham-Kent has just celebrated our first of many services of Inclusion with and for the individuals we support, their staff; their families and interested Community. The 14 member Planning Committee of 'MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE' is comprised of individuals we support; staff; family members and interested community. 'MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE' meets bi-monthly to plan their Service for the end of that month. The theme for their first service was 'BROTHERLY LOVE'. The entire committee and participants were engaged in the Service including an opening drama skit; Worship; greeters; offering and Prayer Team to pray over prayer needs of those attending. A time of fellowship and refreshemtns followed their service.

'MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE' are already busy planning their next service with the excitement of EASTER. Their theme will be "PRISON BREAK". Brief testimonies of 'How Jesus has Changed their Lives' with will shared by one of our individuals and a staff member.

Our services take place at the 'Active Lifestyle Center' in Chatham the last FRIDAY of every other month from 7 -8:30pm.

All are welcome to come, participate and join in as we 'MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE' unto the King.

It is great that we can worship together.  It is the goal of CH to provide worship oportunites not only "for" people who have exceptional needs but also "by" and "with".  The groups that are running have inclusive groups planning and implementing hte service.  If you would like one in your area please contact me, the pastoral ministries team would love to resourse you in any way we can.
